Volvo is Adding 1,900 New Jobs at Facility in South Carolina

Recently, Volvo Cars announced that it is building its next-generation XC90 SUV at the company's new manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina. By adding a second vehicle to the plant's production responsibility, Volvo will have hired nearly 4,000 new employees at the Berkeley County site. This investment brings Volvo Cars' total investment in its U.S. manufacturing operations to over $1.1 billion.
